In order to use Gigasheet, you will need to create a user account. Let's take a look at the four ways to create a Gigasheet account

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Note: Whichever method you use to create your Gigasheet account, will be your login method. It cannot be changed. Additionally, if using a username/password, the email address cannot be changed at a later date.

Username/Password

When creating your account in Gigasheet, your password must contain the following.

  1. At least 8 characters. Your password may not be fewer than 8 characters long.

  2. Your password must contain 3 out of the 4 following attributes.

    1. Lower Case letters (a-z)

    2. Upper case letters (A-Z_

    3. Numbers (0-9)

    4. Special characters (ex. !@#$%^&*)

For example, a good password would be “BigData123”. This password works because it contains an uppercase letter, lowercase letter, and numbers (which are three of the four requirements). If your password was simply “bigdata!”, this would not work, as this password only contains lowercase letters and a special character, two of the four requirements. Please note, having all four of these attributes works and is recommended.

Google Account

Github Account

To create a Gigasheet account with an existing GitHub account, simply select the “Continue with GitHub” button below the “Continue with Google” button. Please note, once you have created an account through GitHub, your email can not be changed. To continue using Gigasheet, you must sign in with GitHub every time you use Gigasheet.

Microsoft Account

To create a Gigasheet account with an existing Microsoft account, simply select the “Continue with Microsoft” button below the “Continue with Github” button. Please note, once you have created an account through Microsoft, your email can not be changed. To continue using Gigasheet, you must sign in with Microsoft every time you use Gigasheet.

Note: While you can create an account with the same email address you used for Google, GitHub, or Microsoft, you will be creating a new account. Each account is tied to how it was created, so please keep this in mind.
